Cut

The cut of a diamond determines its brilliance. Put simply,
the better a diamond is cut, the more sparkle it will have.

Ideal cut: The ideal cut reflects nearly all of the light that enters the
diamond. This is an exquisite and rare cut.

Very good cut: This cut reflects almost as much light as the ideal cut
but is sold as a lower price.

Good cut: A good cut reflects most of the light that enters the diamond,
but is less expensive than a very good cut.

Fair cut: A fair cut will not be as brilliant as a good cut, but is still a
quality diamond

Poor cut: These diamonds are generally so deep or shallow that the
majority of light that enters is lost out of the sides and bottom.
